About

Hi, I’m Victoria. I’m an award-winning UX designer working for Pizza Hut, where I design user-centric experiences for the customer-facing app, internal apps, and website — all based on user research, usability testing, and UX best practices.

Over my 10+ years of varied experience, I’ve cultivated skills in UX/UI design, print graphic design, copywriting and editing, branding, social media, and communications strategy. During that time, I’ve created a pretty substantial number of innovative deliverables and collaborated with some talented individuals — not to mention guzzled through my fair share of coffee!

I refuse to procrastinate and I’m a perfectionist by nature, so I quickly and efficiently polish each project until it meets my high personal standards. I am extremely detail-oriented and am known to spot things like an extra space between two words or a line ending a couple pixels short of where it should. I live by spreadsheets and color-coded calendars.

When I’m not in front of the computer, I can be found running (I’ve got two marathons and nine half-marathons under my belt so far), checking out a local musical, playing board games, or eating irresponsible amounts of cereal.

I also draw photorealistic portraits. I’ve displayed my artwork in the State Fair of Texas and the Iowa State Fair for the past 15 years, most recently receiving Best of Show and First Place in October 2019.
